How to Transfer a website from one hosting to another
At Web Hostech we welcome your website with intention of transfer web hosting to our services. As our services are cheap and trustworthy with high-performance offerings in terms of uplink time and speed most of the business is now being shifted to our platforms. So our R&D has developed a few basic steps in order to facilitate you without the downtime of your business.
In order to migrate your business to our platform, we recommend that you put the desired request of migration to your previous hosting provider in order to have ample time to plan ahead immediately.
cPanel Migration
There’s good news! If your prior hosting provider provided you with cPanel, we will supply it to you free of charge. The following accounts are eligible for account transfers: Shared
- Hosting account
- Reseller Hosting account
- Managed WordPress Hosting account
- Managed VPS account
- Managed dedicated server account
Note:
After receiving a comprehensive migration request, our migration support team will take not more than 24 to 48 hours as promised. Migrations that are more complicated may take longer to accomplish. Our migration support team will make every effort to offer you a time estimate and will take you on board every step of the way
We strongly urge you to keep your previous hosting account active until you’ve modified your DNS settings and properly checked your new Web Hostech Hosting account to ensure the migration went smoothly. For any queries, you may check with our migration support team who will help you out as per your satisfaction
The majority of our migrations are completely free. We may charge a fee in some cases, particularly for more difficult and manual migrations. Any fees will be discussed with you and your approval will be required before any work is completed, moreover, negotiations are always welcome. We follow a Motto that the client is always right!
To move your account, simply follow the steps below.
- Sign up for Web Hostech account
- Login to the Web Hostech account
- Left click the tickets button appearing on the front of your screen, then click the option titled as OPEN A TICKET
- After opening ticket option click on Migration request where you will need to fill old Hosting details
- At the end submit the request by pressing the submit button
Then your request for migration will commence abruptly and our migration support team will contact you with details and further information if required.
The migration process will not take more than 24 hours to 48 hours and you will be briefed by our migration support team every step of the way.

Manual cPanel Migration
You can manually move your data if your current hosting provider does not offer cPanel. Follow these procedures to accomplish this.
